Toss it out #1 : Himalaya Soothing Body Lotion for Sensitive skin

I’ll be starting a new series of cosmetic and skincare reviews on products that i personally dislike and didn’t work out for me.

I hope that this section will help you to think twice or at least consider its suitability for your usage :)

We don’t wanna waste cents and dollars, do we?

Alright, let’s get started with item #1!

Product Name Himalaya Soothing Body Lotion for Sensitive Skin
How I got this Received this as a complimentary gift in my goodie bag at a school convention
The Good 1)   Absorbed easily into the skin

2)   Comes in a big bottle that’ll last you a long time since a little goes a long way in moisturizing your skin

The Bad 1)   Smells absolutely horrible, terrible and disgusting. I’m not sure if I got a bad bottle, but mine smelt like a combination of burnt plastic and mouldy bread. Gross.

2)   No pump. It’ll be so much more convenient to dispense the product than squeezing it out of the bottle! The packaging’s not that soft to squeeze the product out too! I can imagine the hassle of getting the lotion out when one runs out of it. Again, why would they finish it? Smells horrible. I rather have dry skin than to slather it on.

Overall Rating   1 out of 5
Will I repurchase this? Absolutely NOOOO.

I’ve had rather good experiences with other products from this brand but this product really killed it. I understand that it’s supposed to be more natural and good for the skin but it just smells so bad that it’s unbearable! Perhaps it’s due to the licorice and sunflower oil in it? Whatever it is, I don’t recommend this at all if you’re as particular as me about the fragrance of any lotion.
