My overall experience:
The staff were very friendly and the whole process took about 3 hours or so, for both haircut and hair colour. The red dye didn’t really sting my scalp as painfully as I thought it would (the intense red colour dye was quite intimidating! so i thought that the dye strength would be very high, but it’s al okay!) I didn’t suffer any scalp irritations nor hair loss issues even after shampooing my hair in the shower the very next day. Caely was very helpful in helping me choose the right shade of red for me and I couldn’t have been happier with it Haircut wise, she’s really good at it! I was busy with my phone while she was cutting my hair! Looking down and taking photos! Still, as you can see, the end result was a neat, well-bodied “china doll” bob cut!
Bestie Alicia’s haircut by Caely was exceptionally good! Totally transformed how she looks and gosh, that pretty girl has become a gorgeous girl with that effortless, minimalistic haircut done for her! I like how Caely incorporates our suggestions and then improves upon it to make the end result exceedingly pleasing

Will definitely be going back for frequent (my root touch up appointments always end up as full hair colour change!) hair cut and color appointments since the location is rather near my school, service is great and end result is well worth the $160 odd that I’d spent. so many compliments! Even when i shop, people would stop me to say that they love the colour ^^ such stuff makes always every girl’s day right? ^^
i’m a polite owner. i always ask Poofie if i can take a photo with him. But he gives me the same OMG-NOOO face :’(

Hi Ale, thank you for the compliments!:) oh, I haven’t tried so colour so red by matrix before. For this hair colour, there wasn’t any bleach or prior steps to strip my existing hair colour, it’s just the dye itself to get the red coloured hair that I have today
i’ve no idea what’s the specific ratio of red and violet red that my colourist used though. hope this helps!:)
